Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Here's a summary of what's going on/about to happen:
Our trainer was here for two days last week training Circulation staff on the new system
Our bibliographic, item and authority records from the old system (as of 4/30) are being sent to the new vendor today
Catalogers will suspend cataloging this week until they're trained on the new system (5/12-13). No new records will be added to the old system.
Yabin is working with Children's and Adult services on customizing the Web OPAC. There's a meeting today to discuss this. Please submit any ideas you have to your supervisor if you can't attend.
